This year's edition of the Miss Intercontinental pageant will take place on June 8 in Fürth, Germany. The delegates arrived on May 31st in Frankfurt to take part in the festivities.

Here are some highlights of the time they've spent so far in Germany...
June 1: The contestants traveled from Frankfurt to the city of Dortmund, where they were welcomed by the press in a city club.
June 2: The contestants were on the go again, this time to Munich, where they stayed for two days, taking part in television and media interviews.
June 3: The delegates took part in a fashion show showing off both swimsuits and various jerseys from the participating teams in the soccer World Cup at the Hertie department store. (Hertie is one of the biggest chains in Germany.) All the girls played some indoor soccer, and Brazil, Czech Republic, Bolivia, Mexico, and reigning Miss Intercontinental Ligia Petit all scored goals.
June 4: Off to Nürnburg, site of the pageant final! A rehearsal for the preliminary show was held in the evening.
June 5: A gala dinner was held for all the contestants and national directors. Filipino dancers entertained everyone.
June 6: Preliminary interviews were held. There was a rehearsal in the evening, which was preceded by a courtesy call to the mayor of Fürth, the host city of this year's pageant.

Some early standouts include Finland, Colombia, Curacao, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Brazil.
